◆Print Philipines'05 – from September 22-25 2005 – ◆ |
The Philippine Printing Technology Foundation (PPTF) and the Printing Industries Association Philippines (PIAP) officially sealed a milestone project by singing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) formally launching Print Philippines '05 at the Gloria Maris Restaurant in Greenhills , San Juan last March 31.
PPTF president George A. Lora and PIAP president Tony Sibal signed the MOA officially launching Print Philippines 2005, the first ever major print exhibit organized by the country's two leading printing guilds.
On hand to officially witness the signing were two former PPTF and PIAP presidents -
Carlito Bacurin and James Chiu.
Sibal called for a special PIAP board meeting to underscore the importance of the first-ever joint project to be undertaken by the two erstwhile rival printing guilds.
The agreement stipulates that PPTF and PIAP will contribute P250, 000 each as seed money for the trade exhibit scheduled onSeptember 22-25 2005, at the Philippine Trade and Training Center (PTTC). The two organizations shall likewise equally share any profits or losses arising from the joint undertaking

Philippine Printing Technology foundation Trustees were elected on November 25, 2004 during the General Membership Meeting and Elections held at the Quezon City Sports Club.
January 13, 2005, the Board of Trustees elected the Officers during the first Regular Board meeting at the PPTF office. The new Board will serve the Foundation until December 2006.
