About FAGAT:
FAGAT was set up in 1996 as a forum to facilitate the exchange of information on the in Asia. FAGAT also aims to promote greater cooperation and camaraderie among members of the printing and graphic arts fraternity in Asia. An annual meeting is printing and graphic arts industry and to promote the further progress of the industry held by rotation in he member countries.
At each meeting the member countries will discuss the state of affairs of FAGAT and decide on administrative and financial matters. In addition, each member country will make a presentation to highlight the state of the industry in their respective countries.
The first FAGAT meeting was held in Tokyo in 1996. Subsequent FAGAT meetings were held in Seoul, Bangkok, Beijing and Manila. Singapore is hosing the 6th meeting in 2002. The current members of FAGAT are China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
